A standard for Guest Houses …is everybody’s business

2015 - April - 01

The CARICOM Regional Organisation for Standards and Quality CROSQ has sent out a proposal for developing a standard for Energy Efficiency Labelling of refrigerating equipment.

Energy Efficiency labelling will provide consumers with the opportunity to compare the savings to be derived from different refrigerating appliances before making a purchase.

Refrigeration industry stakeholders and consumers, you are asked to peruse the linked proposal and complete the associated evaluation form to provide your opinions on the development of this Energy Efficiency Labelling standard.

Kindly submit the evaluation form to the Bureau of Standards by Monday 20th April, 2015. Your feedback will help us determine Antigua and Barbuda’s position on the development of this proposed new standard.

If you would like any further information, you can contact the Antigua and Barbuda Bureau of Standards at 462 2424, or by email: abbs@antigua.gov.ag with copy to paula.skerritt@antigua.gov.ag.

We look forward to your support and participation in this process.
